Any way, trying to figure out which music proposed for this post (the challenge each time is higher :D ), I've come across with this song that gathers many of the elements of this illustration (apart from the anachronistic "...she was mine" of the lyrics): "Bus Stop" by The Hollies :-)
And for some weird mental connection the illustration also remins me Samuel Benet's play "Waiting for Godot" and I've found this amazing Sesame Street version called "Waiting for Elmo". It's so cool! :D
