Nunca NUNCA he conseguido reproducir digitalmente lo que más me gusta de trabajar con pincel. Precisamente, el error, lo inesperado, el azar, la imposibilidad de dar marcha atrás, el dejar ese "algo más" sobre el papel, era lo que necesitaba para el lineart de mi próximo cómic (Queronea). Esta es una pequeña recopilación:

Este trabajo me ha dado una libertad enorme. Solía tener mucho miedo a "fastidiarla" al entintar, intentaba seguir el dibujo previo en lápiz tal cual era... y ahora, bueno, ya veis jajaja.
This work has given to me a huge freedom. I used to be afraid of "messing up it all" when inking, so I tried to follow the previous pencil drawings exactly as it was... and now, well, you can watch it, hahaha.
Este es un trabajo que trata cosas bastante "duras" como la guerra, la memoria, la identidad... Sí, bueno, está basado en hechos históricos pero la verdad es que ese argumento que me venía ya dado era solo la excusa para hablar de otras cosas. Pero que me desvío. Lo que quería decir es que esta historia necesitaba unos trazos como estos. Cómo muy densos, muy oscuros, rotundos... ya me entendéis. xD
This is a work about quite 'hard' things like war, memory, identity... Ok, yes, it's based on real and historical events, but the truth is that the already-given-plot was only the excuse for talking about other kind of things. But I'm beating around the bush. What I mean is that this story needed strokes like these. Like very dense, dark and convincing strokes... yes, you know what I mean. xD

Bien bonitos son :) Y qué cierto es que trabajar en digital con tantas opciones y control+Z es un incordio a veces, sobre todo cuando el autor es perfeccionista :)
ReplyDeleteSii, yo eso lo noto sobre todo a la hora de dar color: cuando tienes menos donde elegir y no te queda otra que jugártela salen cosas mucho más interesantes! ^_^
